Yes, Total destruction will be inevitable for this car, I ordered new (S2) Batteries, a #101830 - FLUX PRO COMPETITION ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL, and a #101723 - FLUX PRO 3.5T COMPETITION BRUSHLESS MOTOR for shits and giggles. But I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of the first and none of the latter... Now for gearing... What size will get me over the 100+, Yes I plan on getting realistic the following month with chassis upgrades, and another realistic motor... and whats a better Radio system other than my STOCK HPI. And a servo would be nice.

Read this thread, if you haven't already:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-sows-ear.html

Marv has put together a great resource thread for most things HPI Sprint 2.

For a radio, you can get just about anything 2.4GHz and it will be fine for bashing. I use a Futaba 4PL and I race. It might be overkill for your needs.

For a servo, I have the Spektrum S6070 low profile servo in my cars. It fits nicely in the Sprint 2 chassis and is reasonably strong & fast and reasonably priced. http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...odID=SPMSS6070

I would also invest in a glitch buster cap to prevent brown-outs and glitching due to voltage sag during acceleration and turns at higher speeds.

Replace your ballcups with these: http://www.losipartshouse.com/servle...-molded/Detail
I found the RPMs to be too tight and caused binding. The were too long also and required cutting to fit.

I hope this all helps!

I have read that from front to back, got alot of ideas but still lacks in specifics in certain areas. But about this gearing. I'm looking for top speed obviously...

For gearing, start with an FDR of 10 and work your way down.

Shouldn't have bought hpi electronics, you could have gone with cheaper stuff that was better. Smh
If you want speed like that get an 1/8 onroad or a pan car. However much you are going to be able to do to the sprint it's still going to be a sprint. I have that chassis and it just can't handle those speeds. You say you are gonna upgrade it? Dont, just spend the money on a chassis that will get you to 100 cuz believe me, the sprint will not.
Not do be a downer, it just won't happen
