I sure am hearing ya' and know what you're saying. While we'd love to run 24/365, we've had to make some concessions. We've committed to running these 5 races in 6 months and all the behind the scenes things which that entails.

I'll say that the MWGS series has been a growing entity and we are pleased in the direction it has been headed. In years past we've been hit with multiple track closings and not knowing where the series might land because of the economy, or $3.65 a gallon gas, or whatever excuse was prevalent at the time. But now we have a limited window in order to accomplish the goals of bringing super-regional action to local tracks, while not conflicting with major national events, or holidays.

With that said, we'll see what next year holds, but let's race the hell out of this season first.

My limited experience may be speaking out of turn here... but why is mod touring blinky at the last three races? I just don't see how micro-managing that class is beneficial to anybody. 2cents.

We understand most of this, but you still haven't answered the question. What about the BEaver and Access races?

@ Josh, the reason for blinky mod is after the gate and champs, the track sizes vary, and tend to be a little smaller. Honestly, boost and timing wouldn't be a benefit.

@ mudvayne, I am not sure why there is not an access hobbies race. But from talking to john he gave up a race at his place for a couple reasons. One is because rapid competition in Grand Rapids got brand new carpet and is spending a lot of money to make a top notch track. The other reason is due to his location. The majority of the racers that travel for this series are more centrally located around the current tracks listed. I think it was a pretty stand up thing for John to do.

They always allow a track choice class. If USGT is a big class there, and 8(?) or more cars sign up, it will be ran. This happened at the Halloween Classic. It wasn't on the list, but enough people have signed up for it to be ran.

If I spoke out of line, I am sure John, Ken, or Sean will correct me. But from talkings I have had with those involved and years past, I think I am pretty close to correct.

Understood. So if the general consensus is that boost is no advantage then what would you say the purpose of outlawing it is? Let the racer decide whether or not it's worth it. Just my opinion that mod should be open ESC/motor, no exceptions. ever.

Agreed. Although I personally enjoy racing at Beaver immensely.

I liked john's track a lot. But it's a hell of a drive for me. But cinci is probably just as far. I think it's too much turnpike for too long, lol.

Per Google:
From Detroit to Beaver, Pa 3.5 hours ish.
Detroit to Cincinnati, Oh 4 hours ish.

53022
I'm starring down a 7 ish hour drive to Cleavland. Twice...
Cincinnati is over 6. Not sure if Ill make that event.

Why am I doing it. I have never been to the Gate, The Halloween Classic is the time to do it. The indoor champs being a hotel event is fun!

I would like to petition now for an event next year in Illinois. I am kidding, so total joking. Well maybe not joking. Bottom line, I enjoy toy car racing. I am happy to play in this series.

Snowy.
