I don't know if anyone has any experience with those, aren't they marketed as a drift motor?

Right, time for one of those unbelievably STUPIDLY OBVIOUS questions.

There is all this mention of coloured springs, but by whom are they made? I'm assuming Trinity, am I assumimng right?

The combo I use right now is Peak Dysentry with 4499's and a heavy Reedy spring (a copper one if that's any help, pinched off a mate). I file about 1mm of the trailing edge to stop brush overlap, helps run cooler. I've been trying a Reedy QM with XXX brush and standard springs, lacks a little torque but still got good top end, thinking of a heavier spring?

It's not a matter of being inscentsitive, his posts are over the top in the azz department, even if you give good information, if you sound like a prick saying it.

Some of you guys are supposed to be adults, yet somehow I don't think so.

With that said, his motor advice is good, one just had to wade through all the insulting b.s. that he adds in his advice.

That's a very good question. IDK about the other guys, but I'm talking about Trinity springs in my setups.

Heavier springs usually lead to more torque.

any tips on tuning or opinions on the Mt Fuji from EA Motorsports.
I just got one and I love it. I was wondering what everyone else thought about it ?

I got the scoop on that motor. Basically just a Ti can, laydown brushes, 2 magnets, and locked 24 deg timing. I'm pretty sure it has a regular small comm as well. Since I don't think anyone has even run this motor yet the jury is still out on how to gear it or set it up, good luck!
