In VTA I would prefer less toe than stock due to the heavier weight and wider rear tires.

Yes, I to changed the rear gear diff oil to 450. With 388 (asc 32.5) fr and 350 (asc 35)Rr. I also only ran the rear sway bar on the furthest out position on the arm and a 2mm shim between the ball cup assembly.

I also had to change out the O-Rings in the gear diff due to extreme swelling causing the diff to act funny and bind up.

It still had a minor on power push in the middle of the corner out.

Could this chassis be considered a t4r clone?

Hello people, I just upgrade the RGT R2 car with all the optional parts, there's only missing the low profile motor mount that I would get the next week.

See more pics of the parts here:

http://www.rcelectrico.es/analisis-d...rueba-en-pista

Main chassis is 2.20mm carbon and 88.6 width, like the new T4 14
Top deck is 2,20 also.
Tower shock is a little thin, only 2,5mm.

Testing the car on asphalt was awesome. I only make a minor changes on setup, 3-hole teflon pistons and 350 cst on shocks, green (softer) spring set on rear and 3º excentric bushing on the rear holder. The car has an impresive capacity entering corners and a really good traction.

Really impressed with it.

Looks good. I know I had my car setup pretty well. I traction rolled in our 1 min qualifier and got stuck in traffic. I worked my way to the b-sort and was on pace to make the A-main until traffic. It's a shame cause this is a great car. The only mods I made to the car were the springs. I was using Xray springs. I was really impressed with the car and what I could do with it.

As you say, stock performance with out-the-box car is really really good.

I only upgraded it to get a cosmetic race look

Regards

i've been testing the Standard RGT for them at our club and it runs Great !! I still can't believe it's only a 120.00 Car !!. The pro's a fully upgraded version at 175.00>>

Some of the parts do fit the Xray and visa versa but the overall layout is different to the T4.. For an entry level car it's exceptionally good and if it gets new blood into the sport it's got to be good. You get can one in the UK from here and pre-orders are been taken..

Today was an another day of testing the RGT R2 Pro.

I'm really happy, I was racing with very high level people racing Xray T4, CSO-1, VBC,... I was the fastest in some runs with a very old tires with more than 15 runs on asphalt... The car has an impressive performance and corner entry and traction.

Now I have to modify a little the setup to lower the lap times!

Regards
