Looks like Yok's advantage at this race came down to tire prep. Whether it was a new chemical or a new prep or both (unfortunately we'll never know) but Umino called it a 'breakthrough.'
Can't wait for the next series to start.
Congrats to Volker and Yokomo !

Haters gonna hate...

That looks A LOT like your car Dave.

Wonder what the revolutionary tire sauce was. I would like to try it! I hope its not liquid gravity of anything. The locals have been using that for a while.

Congratulations to Ronald and Yokomo for the win. It's truly a testament to Ronald's driving and Umino's wrenching that they're able to win so consistently with that car.

Nice to see Awesomatix get the win as well!

Hopefully Dave doesn't normally run with his right rear bottom shock mount about to fall off!

Congrats to Paul Lemieux on finishing 14th over all. I know he got off to a real slow start but manage to move up a lot by the end of the event. I always root for Paul, Keven, and RIck H. When ever they travel to join these type of races.

I also have a whole new level of respect For the Hudy's commitment and passion for R/C racing.

Congrats to RV and Umino for the championship....

Next year should be crazy especially if the Hudy arena is going to added to the schedule again....

I just noticed too that Volkers car doesn't have the bottom motor mount screws. They look like grub screws to align it to the chassis only...

Just the front like the Tamiyas have been doing for awhile. The inner most one is the back center weight screw.

Is there any screw left to hold the motor mount on the chassis?

Exclamation ETS vs: World Championship ?

Considering that ETS covers a broad range of tracks/surfaces begs the question

Is the ETS becoming more important than a single week of W/C racing, to determine the best driver/team ?

The level of comp seems like a W/C every race

It probably is a good measuring system, but in the ETS series too many top drivers are still missing, the Hara's, groskamp, Naoto etc. It may be a good platform to pick the most allround european driver/team.
