Not sure about the top one, could be a Speedmerchant.

Picture below looks like a CRC, Carpet Knife 3.2R.

Thanks for the crc ID. I figured it was a crc (the red alu gave it away)and the other a speedmerchant just not sure which one. I tried google and speedmerchants site but Im not seeing one exactly like it with the same chassis cutouts. Can anyone tell if these have the brushed or brushless rear pods? I raced carpet tc for a long time up at the gate in Cleveland but never tried 12th scale. Any more info, setups, tips, hop ups would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
Slim

Oh, and definitely not a brushless pod on the CRC. That was their version of a 12L pod. Hub looks too long to be a brushless offset on the speedmerchant too.

Brushless pods in speed merchant land did not come around till rev 6. You could get them in rev4.5 and rev5 pods but still was a headache. Brushless offset hub was only introduced on prototypes in between 6 and 7 and onward.

will these still be competitive running 27t brushed and a lipo? I have a ton of new/ well maintained stock brushed motors like the p2k2pro, birdman, monster hp 27t, fantom... a good comm lathe, brushes, tuning springs & a motor dyno?
