Sorry, I'm familiar with the car. Just need info on the Hot Bodies version of the body that is sold for R/C. I have a short body Kyosho that is pretty good. The Hot Bodies version is the longtail. Can't find any pics of it.

Are you sure its a hot bodies and not hpi. As far as I am aware HB only sells touring car and off road, bodies if any at all. I have the McLaren f1 by HPI and I like it so far. I will post pics when painted

In the pic from the seller I can tell it is the long tail version and not the short tail like HPI or Kyosho.

I remember Kyosho made a short and long tail version.

HPI only made short tails, i don't think Hot Bodies ever made a long tail version.

The body you have is probably 10-15 years old when hot bodies was not a part of HPI. You're probably on your own here.

probably this, if it is in fact a HB MacLaren. Are you positive it was made by Hot Bodies?

I find that paint works well went trying to customize bodies. Use tape to cover areas you don't want paint on.

Experiment as you can come up with come creative paint jobs!
