M-05 Battery
#1

Does anyone have a good choice lipo battery for a Tamiya M-05. I am using Orion Rocket Packs they continually puff and now the case is cracking at the seam. The batteries must follow the Tamiya TCS Final rules. Mainly, hard case and round.

Do you use Peak batteries and are the cases strong? They want split?

We use the venom one and it's been great for all of us using it which is quite a few. I use venom in all of my cars and never have problems with them and they're support is great too. Plus this is a great price for it and approved for TCS last I checked.
Can't post links but here is the name of it listed on venom's website just google it.

Voloc, I thought the Venom was a soft case?

No the venom one is a hard case, says it in the name and says roar approved for tamiya cars. I've heard protek is a good brand too I just stick with venom so I haven't tried any personally yet.
