Default Turnigy TD10 1/10 Belt-Driven 4WD Touring Car

has anyone seen these! Full review and build here

http://www.thercracer.com/2015/04/ho...nd-review.html

a $69.99 Touring car from hobbyking?

Looks to have everything you need to start club racing, and it also comes as a kit! It even has 2 oil filled gear diffs.

It looks similar to a Sakura S but it there does look to be some differences.

Seventy bucks... for that you get... well it's like a car really, but not quite as good.
Honestly, I would trust a TC4 Club Racer over this. I own Turnigy tools and the like but this is a leap I wouldn't take.

It's just a rebadged Sakura Zero S. Turnigy is selling them now that Sakura has released a new budget level TC.

That looks just like the Sakura S. even the rear shocks mounted on the inside of the tower.

will build a friends td10 this weekend, have been racing the sakura xi last year so this should be a quite straight forward build.. (hobbyking has confirmed that its the sakura s and 3racing is still making the kit)

And you would be severely mistaken. the sakura zero s (this exact same car) can not only compete with the tc 4 but it can be upgraded to a full carbon fiber and aluminum ride. I compete with tc 6 serpent 411 x rays etc and keep up without any problems.

Did this just come out? I'm really interested in one. Does anyone have one yet? Can't beat the $70 price tag.

It's a rebranded 3Racing Sakura Zero S, there's a whole thread here about 190 pages of info... and yes a lot of people owns one, me included. For $70 it's a steal, if the shipping is reasonable from HK, go for it.

Oh man, my wife is going to kill me. Lol

What motors work well with it? I'm new to on road racing. Most familiar with off road. Heard of road engines generally have to much torque for on road.

Check your local club, but 17.5 blinky is a common class and they are still fast and fun to drive.

This is a great deal and perfect for club racing in 17.5 blinky or the VTA class. Made by 3Racing, this is a re-badged Sakura Zero S sedan.

Default ....jus' my.02

...greetings. I'd just received my Turnigy Brushless esc from the HobbyKing warehouse(Fotan,Hong Kong)and it did take over a week-and-a-half after I'd ordered it. My point is, make sure that you have reasonable parts availability - a broken shock tower or belt (common brakeage) may take you out of competition for a week or two.Good luck. [No that I'm thinkin' of it , I jus' may order the TD 10 for myself]
