Hi guys,

Am thinking of getting one, just wanna know if the ESC and motor from HK good enough for racing(the so called 'blinky' class)? If it's good enough what would you suggest(maybe a link please). I'm really new to on-road(just a few months with off-road), so please advice guys.
Thanks a lot for any help i can get.

The TD10 (3Racing Zero S) is a good base for blinky racing and I prefer the Hobbywing Justock ESC over anything else. This ESC is reasonable priced and rock solid.

Looks like the TD10s are back in stock.

I have a Sakura Zero version 2 Vertical mount and a pair of 96 tooth sour gears for sale. These also fit the TD10.

Sakura Zero S Turnigy TD10 parts

With the vertical mount you can go as high a a 51 tooth pinion with the 96 tooth spur gear.

I did a build and review. Pretty impressed with the car as a budget runner

That's a very thorough and professional-looking review!

Hi ya'll. I'm in the middle of my TD10 build, did the diffs and installed the belts and spur. I'm a little concerned about my spur, I have very small amount of side to side play..and I do have the little .02mm thick spacers installed. Is this normal, or am I doing someting wrong? Also, I'm going to run this car with a brushed setup. probably a 27 turn motor, or maybe an old "hot stock" 23 turn, and 6 cells. Any idea where to start with a pinion for this setup? Any help appreciated.
