Default Parts Questions for an Xray T2 008

Hey guys. I'm trying to get an Xray T2 008 I have race ready for VTA.
I have a few questions on parts for these cars. I need a few things for it and the parts for these things can get expensive fast. I understand that a lot of other cars share a similar design so I wanted to know what other brands and cars share parts with the T2. I'm looking for sway bars, body mounts, and shock rebuild parts the most right now.

I'd also like to know how most people mount a lipo in these chassis. The batteries won't fit under the top deck so I guess they need to hang off the chassis a bit. I know I can use battery tape but I'd like to know if there are some non Xray parts out there that will let me make a battery holder that will use the optional Xray carbon battery strap.

Thanks!

You can grind one of the bulkheads so you can fit a lipo under. You will have to space out the upper deck in the rear section about 1-2mm so the bigger lipos can clear it. I'll get a pic shortly. I'm building up a T2 for a buddy of mines.

I also got some shock rebuild parts and a ton of T2 parts for sale.

Don"t grind anything. Use Li-Po pads. You can try to find them on ebay. I just sold my XRay T2008. I still have my T2009 and spare parts. A ton of parts as I have ran XRay since 2006. Just so you know, I never used Li-Po pads. I let the battery sit next to the upper deck. It helped me get the car balanced.

Our club will be having a R/C swapmeet tomorrow. I can check to see if I still have the pads. I am also selling a T2006 with parts. 06, 07, & 08 dhare the same shocks. I may have some used one or even new ones. Everything is boxed up. Most of it is loaded in a trailer and I am leaving in the early morning. It's a long drive. I don't want to unload and look right now.

If you want send me a PM with a number to text a couple of pictures so you can see how I sit the battery. If I have pads, & shocks, I could send a picture of those parts as well.

Hope this helps.
