Softer Throttle
#16

is the car lurching? if so it may be cogging. maybe the problem has to do with sensored vs sensorless. you didn't mention if you have a sensored or sensorless motor, or whether this is a 25.5 or 2.5 motor or ?

Motor is Dynamite 17.5, gear ratio is 3.6. Running in Associated TC6.1 Worlds.
Running sensored option.
No cogging problems that I am aware of it is just the throttle seems to come in very quickly. Just wanted to make the throttle response a little softer initially.

On this motor outdoors we gear around 3.2

Am running almost max motor timing at gear ratio 3.6. Seems quick enough and is coming off in the region of 70 plus degrees.

Can someone help me please.
I am looking to make the initial throttle response a little softer. At the moment it is just a touch too aggressive for me. Is the best way to do this on the speedo or the transmitter. I will admit to being slightly confused with the number of options on the transmitter whereas the speedo is looking easier.
I am using a SANWA Exzes X transmitter and a Tekin RS Pro speedo.
Any advise would be useful.
Thank you.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Tried all sorts at the weekend eventually ending up running a gear ratio of 4.0 and almost max motor timing with throttle expo at -40%. This seemed to be the best option and was certainly for my style of driving the quickest option setting a PB with this car and speedo and being only 2 seconds off my best ever on the track I was on.
Only thing I did not try was running a higher gearing and no timing. That will be my task for next weekend.
Thanks to all you made suggestions your help is appreciated.
