So sad when a T4 clone is allowed to multiply...

Don't know about the cars quality since it hasn't been released yet but Team C has good U.S. support so that is a plus.

Hey all: this car looks nice and it's nice to see some new names getting into the 10th 190mm sedan class like vbc arc durango spec-r and now team C. this is a good sign for this class even though they all look basically the same. Also with so many options can they all survive? I know classes go in cycles and it looks like this one is on the way up. Finally I agree that with team C having increased support in the usa this car should do well I think.

Is the "C" for clone or copy?

Can't say I've ever been a huge fan of clones, but if it's significantly cheaper than other premium TC's out there, it may sell well. I tend to stick with all the major brands, and never really paid Team C much attention until recently. I had the opportunity to handle a couple of their cars and take a few laps and was surprised that the quality was as good as it is. Very similar in design to other cars I've owned, no doubt.
If this is truly a clone, I'm sure we can expect the price to be quite a bit lower since R&D was minimal. I'm just now getting back in to TC after having been out of the game since '03. You could put 90% of currently available high end touring cars side by side with all their counterparts from the last 10 years, and anyone that doesn't know any better would have a hard time telling them apart. It's tough to call a single manufacturer a clone when nearly every manufacturer follows the same formula to achieve the end result. Of course we know all of the work that's gone in to refining the current crop of cars - optimizing the chassis to suit brushless power, LiPo batteries, little tweaks to geometry. If Team C brings something new to the table, while utilizing a similar design, I guess I'm ok with that, especially if it's not another $400 + roller. And if that's their goal - to bring more affordable, quality kits back in to the fold, more power to 'em.

THE CAR DESIGNS ARE SIMILAR IN WAY OR ANOTHER AND ITS CRAZY TO BEGIN TO BELIVE THAT OTHER CAR MANUFACTURES ARE INDEPENDENT WHEN IT COMES TO DESIGN!

http://www.cambergain.com/post/60847...other-car-into

It looks like someone took a BD7 and gave it XRay plastics and shocks. As far as copying goes, that might be the best idea ever!
