I don't think I shot them that far down. I have been considering coming and just filming. Not racing. If I did that I would be able to get more of it for you guys.
Edit: Also last year I filmed like crazy and ended up having dead cameras when the mains came around. (Maybe it was two years ago.) one camera was full and the other was dead. All avoidable with more cameras, but you have to build up to that, or not buy as much RC gear.

Hmmm. Well somebody shot us because we were all waiting for the video guy to finish shooting the staged cars. I was thinking it was you, maybe not.

I will be happy to be wrong on this. If I have the footage I will be more than happy to put it up for you.

I was at a 3.72 in TC with the ORCA TX motor and 1.5mm of timing past the last line.

I guess as I think about it my TC was not that slow. It was my horrible setup. My GT could have used a bit more speed though.

I ran 3.72 on an EA 17.5 Orca 2mm past last timing line. I've run the same gear on our track for the D3.5 and Killshot as well. All about 55deg timing.

Hotshot RC's WAREHOUSE TEAM had a great time at the Southern Nats. This year Me, Alex, Brad and Melvin made the trip from Georgia. I hope next year we can go with a bigger group.
We met up with HOTSHOT RC 1st offical member.

The legendary Mike Hairy Henderson. We had some great battles during qualifying rounds.

Brad and Alex working hard on finding more overall speed.

I had to fire my VTA drive.........

His replacement was a BEAST!!!!

High traction called for major suspension changes

I was ready to try anything to get a advantage in VTA

My car looked good from a distance. I used all them stickers to cover up my mistakes.

Motor tech for VTA was super strict this year.

Racing was fair fast and fun for all...

Pit space was awesome

Myron & Dirla were calling all the shots

Thank you to all our sponsors

I got to do a body like this soon. It was fun watching Snot Rod go around the track.

There were a lot of great paint jobs

The 2013 VTA SOUTHERN NATIONALS is in the books now. Congrats to all the winners. To be honest I don't think their were any loosers in this one if you really think about it. My Team and I learned a lot and hope to be stronger contenders next year. We all made a lot of new friends. Had a great time with RC racing and eating and laughing. I still say no one had more fun than me. So nope, no loosers.

I have to admit I feel sorry for Myron. Because he is really gonna week his brain next year trying to beat this one....lol

For all that missed this event. DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN......... Mark it on your callender for next year. Trust me you will not regret it. I'm looking forward to my 3rd, 4th and 5th.
