Gary: would LOVE to see y'all do a '67-'70 Mercury Cougar, and another option for a '70 1/2 Camaro. The second-gen Camaro that's out now is very thin and flimsy (nose needs reinforced with ShoeGoo).

Gary - Now that's the paint job a GARY McAllister VTA Body should have!!! Nice.

I've got about a dozen sets of the decals for this body to send out once the print shops gets them to me (they called me at 10 this morning w/ MORE delays) Actually made me completely redo the artwork and spread them out (causing me to get roughly 2/3rds as many as my original sheet)

They said it will be Tuesday now before I hear from them again w/ an update, and hopefully WEDNESDAY when they are ready.

Joe-
Out sourcing things is a real pain. Decals are the only thing we don't do in house....so I know what you mean.

My body would look even better with your decals!!

I've always been a guy who outsources things "Out of Town" - and rarely deal w/ local people... but my last two projects I've decided to do local - a whole lot more expensive so far - and so far, both have missed promised times.

I just hope these look as good on vinyl as they looked on screen, paper and mailing labels. (It's the die cutting that worries me most)

And Americans wonder why they are falling behind. The world doesn't put up with laziness or mediocrity. You could have sent your files to china and received a final product by now.

You can buy directly from McAllister. There were 3 of the new Firebird bodies running at our trophy race this past Friday. They looked good on the track.

Don't forget to send photos of your painted bodies to McAllister. They will post them in their Racer's Rides section of their website.

To those who have ordered my decals for the McAllister Firebird - another setback w/ the print shop today - so I've sourced this w/ a different print shop (one I've used before) keeping fingers crossed that they could be ready on July 2nd in the afternoon...or Wednesday July 3rd before they shut down for a long weekend.

The NEW Print Shop had some of the order ready today (They only printed part of it to get my actual approval before doing the rest - I like the way they think)

I will send the ones that are Pre-Paid already out tomorrow morning - Bill, I'll invoice you when the 2nd run gets to me (she said probably Friday afternoon)

These things are STICKY - so you may want to consider applying them to a wet surface so they don't get stretched trying to reposition them.

I'm pretty happy with them - and hope you guys will be too.

Thanks

Joe
