So the car showed up after 9 days.

(Again,It was bought from a shop not 2hrs away.)

Because of the inconvienience PlatinumPhou has agreed to hook me up with the spring kit for the car. I also was planning on purchasing more parts from him because he was so interested in making this good..

well.. it is tuesday night and I still have not gotten a reply from him.

Buyer Beware when dealing with Platinum Hobbies of Columbus Ohio.

Keith.. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I ordered parts from Phou on Friday and got them today. He is now using UPS to ship items out. This should provide a better security blanket for items shipped. UPS's tracking number means a lot more than the USPS tracking number.

I appreciate your sympathy... and your addition.

Quite frankly I am now floored because he said he would make good on the situation and wont answer a PM or even show his face here. I wanted to run my car sunday but cannot because I have no springs, or spares.

Thats a shame because I am less than 2 hrs from his track.. and well when indoor season starts up again, me and my friends (from NY) run everywhere. And when we come.. we come HARD... there will be times we will drop hundreds of dollars in shops this fall. I guess it will all go to Halo and the gate as it did this year...

ignorance is bliss i guess.

Phou is a class act..

Correction...there was some stiff competition at Platinum. Many of the "fast guys" say they won't race there anymore. People getting their cars stolen or broken into has a dampening effect. Doesn't help that the Platinum won't warn anyone about it. I won't be racing there anymore which is a shame...I live 30 minutes from the track.

Thumbs up ze gait

we will gladly entertain you fellas this fall! The Gate is gonna be out of control this coming season. we're working to smooth out the floor and address a few minor cosmetic issues over the summer.

add to that, that there's a handful of us or more that want to hit some bigger races this year. fall is gonna start early since scotty's race in vegas is so soon. we'll be running all summer on tuesdays and come fall... we should already be full swing.

Actually, it was my first stop...

I stopped in there last week and there was nothing in stock.. Unfortunately he was at reedy so I couldnt speak with him.

I want to run my car this weeekend and am making every attempt to buy from a TRACK or local (semi local) shop.. rather than some mail order warehouse. Just the way I do things...
