Thank you. I think I now know the differences and similarities between the two ESCs.

I can't believe I leave to start my trip in just over a week. A week in TX before heading to Vegas. So much still to do to prepare!

Yeah this travel stuff before IIC is a pain. I just got home and might have to travel to Louisville the weekend before heading to Vegas. I never seem to have enough time.

Glad you're going make it again this year.

If you'll be in Dallas let me know. We can grab dinner or something.

You get one set with your entry. You can purchase more but for the life of me I can't remember how much. As soon as I know I will post it.

Just a couple of questions.

Do you have to be there Monday for Registration? Or can you come Tuesday?

Practice says 7am open 8am controlled. - how late is the track open?

Thanks
Looking to book my trip, this will be my first trip to this event.... looking forward to it.

Hey Sean... You can register whenever you arrive, be it Mon, Tues, Weds, whatever. Lots of people arrive a few days prior to the event starting to get some extra Vegas time in, Monday is just the first day that registration/pit setup is open to the public.

There is "semi-open" practice every morning from 7-8am(I think it actually closed @ 745am last year, IIRC). It is basically 2-mins per group of 10 drivers... Just line up and run as many times as you want. Once the controlled stuff(practice, quals, etc) starts for the day, that's it. The track will close once the last round finishes for the night.

Just to add, depending on the time of night, we may stay open a little later to give you some wrench time. However, we want everyone to go out and enjoy the night life that Vegas has to offer. This can be a show, gamble or just people watch.

just to add a little fuel to the fire.

because Scotty already started that we can not charge batteries anywhere except the "Pits" ballroom. is the room gonna be opened a little earlier for us to have time to charge for the AM quick practices???

I just charge my batteries before the pits are closed for the night. I wouldn't worry about having a full charge the first day of practice unless you want to show everyone how well you can drift your car around the track. It takes a little while for the grip to come up on the virgin carpet.

They open about an hour before any races start. So you will have some time to charge. Or you can charge the night before so you can be the first one in line to get it going. Thats what I do. Not like you need a totally fresh charge just in practices.
