2 people in 2 classes, expect around $500-600 in race fees depending on which classes you race, then the hotel cost at the Riviera will be around $500 a room.

Talked to the ppl that goes to IIC every year....1 person, racing 2 classes at IIC, spending the time from MONDAY to SUN ....about $2000-2500 per person for that week. Not including gambling, shopping for wife or GF, extreme luxury on food or buffet, tons of alcohol.....assumed all the normal standard average stuff.

But there is way to save money....for example, gather someone and DRIVE to there, that way, you don't have to ship things to there (save on shipping), no need to buy air tickets....just need to worry about $3.50 per gallon of gas.

He is talking about for 2 person and 4 classes total (father and son run 2 classes each)....$500 there total for the race fee (assumed about $125 for each class) then $500 for the room for the whole week for both of them (like 5 nights total = $500).

Hotel rooms are $59 during the week, $89on Friday-Sunday.

Entry fees are high - but consider where you are and what your doing. Plus the sponsor goodie bag you get is worth about $75-$100.

This is the type of race that is a great experience. Meet different people, pros from the US and overseas. Most major companies attending and lending support.

I went last year. Raced 2 classes. Took the wife she spent about 500 and I still spent less than 2000. Its about buying airfare at the right time. 60 days ago u could get 199 each way w southwest from Norfolk to Vegas. The hotel is cheap. 69 a night I'm pretty sure.

Put it this way. I would be there now if it wasn't for work bs. Worth every penny
