Thanks Kraig!

I am mainly concerned about the ride height and max width rules for F1. If you have any insight on those rules it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It will be 4mm for ride height. I am waiting to get clarification on max width as I believe there are some cars out now that are wide and some are narrow so...until I get it verified I don't want to speculate.

Yes, I hope to see the F1 rules soon as well. I haven't signed up yet as I'm waiting to see which classes to run. I have cars for all of them and am equally mediocre in all classes. :-)

Here are the F-1 Rules

Motor 21.5
Ride Height 4mm
Max Width 190mm
Weight 1050 Grams
1 set of Tires, Inserts, and Rims are provided with your entry.
Pardus F-1 Tires Part # PR01 for Tamiya and PR02 for HPI/FGX

These rules will be on the site in a day or two. This will allow me to answer questions and make sure they are included on the site as well.

Years past it's been Speed Passion. I would guess that hasn't changed but I could wrong.

Thank you very much for bringing over this motor exclusion information from the IIC website.

This comes as a huge surprise to me after ROAR rescinded their original call that originally outlawed only the D3 17.5 motor. And, now it somehow applies to multiple D3 motors; including the 13.5 motor I recently purchased for use in my WGT car for this year's event.

Considering that the IIC website currently only informs us what three motors (all D3's) are outlawed...Can there also be a list showing what motors will be legal?

Obviously, I cannot trust the term of "ROAR-Approved Motors" for this year's event.

Just want to get it right...Thanks.

Bill

Drivers, as we are now getting closer and closer to the event I wanted to bring to your attention a few changes to the site and something that has been asked for.

The Classes & Rules page has been updated with the latest set of rules that have been discussed. This page now lists things such as ride height, allowed motors, weight, tires, etc.

The motor list(s) will not be changed after September 6th, 2013.

We do reserve the right to modify these rules if there is an error.

Just out of curiosity
Why does Spec GT have a lower min weight, but with the heavier bodies, and electronics, than std TC's ?
