I tried that found out I don't have enough parts for that. neither do a lot of other people.

You see, in Mod even the wrecks can be amazing!

Really, we all knew stock TC would be the most popular class, it's the biggest by miles when you consider Amature and the Spec GT. There's nothing wrong with that, but with grip racing modified is incredible.

I have a hard enough time trying to keep a 17.5 under control . A mod car under my control would be a danger to all. I wish I could handle mod cause I'd be on it all the time.

+1 for mod.

I entered touring mod.
If I can run within 2 laps of the pros,
I'm still running with the pros.

Spec GT Bodies.

After the success of last year’s Spec GT class, we want this year’s class to keep with the same scale look that we had and help this class grow to be something different from the normal look of sedans.

All bodies must be painted to show the scale look and design of the car. We want all cars to look like they could be real cars that you would see on the track. We do not want to see cars with flames, drips, dots, etc. We want them to look like cars that a spectator could possibly relate to on T.V. or on the showroom floor. You can have one color paint schemes but you must use the included sticker sheet to give the car the race car feel and look. I ask everyone who joins this class keep in the spirit of what we are trying to do and to take some time to detail their cars.

All of you who have currently entered should have received an e-mail from Scotty on this topic. If you did not and wish to discuss it further with him please e-mail him at [email protected].

Here are some examples, courtesy of Live RC.

Thanks Kraig! No news on hand out motors for Amateur, or what the Spec GT handout system will be?

Also it's not listed on the IIC site, Which classes get a set of hand out Jaco's included with registration this year? All the touring classes?

All classes except 12th usually get 1 set of handout tires with your entry. At least in the past this is how it worked.

Nothing new to report on the Motor or handout system's as of yet.

Handout tires, as mentioned by bkspeedo, are the same as last year. You get one set with your entry and you can purchase additional sets if you wish. This is now on the site. Scotty will have that information and more information available to you during check-in.

Well it looks like I'm going to make it after all So...has a decision been made yet on tires for the F1 class? Hand outs or bring your own? I remember Scotty was considering not doing a hand out tire in F1 due to the issues with the rims.

Good question. I will ask him tonight when I see him along with the other questions.

I spoke with Scotty and F1 will be handout.

When are we going to see actual class rules posted (and a current registration list)?

The class is listed as a handout. So you will be required to use the items provided during check-in unless Scotty says otherwise. There will be a table setup for you to glue your tires at so bring your glue and whatever else you need to glue them up. This information will be on the site in the next day or two.

Within the next week or two I hope to have the list of approved motors and speed controls with their software version's on it. The F1 tire rule was confirmed last night so I thought I would mention it here first to make sure I answer as many questions as possible regarding that.

As for the other rules, other than what has been mentioned here and should have made its way to the site, what other questions do you have that we might have missed? I am trying to get them answered here and then published on the site and eventually Facebook but I am not perfect and I might have missed one or two or more.

As for who is registered, only Scotty can answer when he will publish the list. I would recommend you e-mail him with that question, [email protected].
