Default 128T Tamiya Ta04 Spur Gear?

Anyone got a site that sells spur gears for the tamiya ta04.

I searched all night... and I couldn't find one that I could AFFORD!

i'd strongly recommend Precision Racing System spurs and pinions. U'd need 1/16" screw driver for the grub screw tho

Aftermarket spurs andpinions are legal for TCS- no need to use Tamiya brand ones. Kimbrough sells an excellent 64 pitch spur and Robinson make very nice pinions in several types. Tower sells both brands as well as others that would work just fine. You can use either the Tamiya pinion or any aftermarket 64 pitch pinion.

I've had my 04 for about 4 years or so and I've always used Robinson Racing spurs and pinions. Kimbrough are nice too. I've had a couple of those also.

Yokomo also makes some nice precision spur gears. Make sure you stay with the 64 pitch. I have a 415MS, and an EVO4 and my cars won't take anything else; not enough clearance in the designs. ex. 48 or 32 pitch.

Steve at Speedtech sells them. I use them on my TA04 and 414's (now retired). He also sells the TIR Titanium 64 pitch pinion gears. www.speedtechrc.com . Spur gears are listed in the "Racers Corner" section. Pinions are in the "After Market Parts --> Titanium Racing" section.

Thanks for the reply guys!

If I use these aftermarket spur gears, would the 0.4 module pinion gears taht I have now work with these 64 pitch spur gears?

Nope...they will "look" like they work, but are only close...If you switch to an aftermarket spur, you'll need to switch pinions too....

ai.... @[email protected]!!!!

Does anyone know any sites that sell genuine tamiya spur gears then?
i have too many 0.4T pinions!! I don't want to waste them!! Its frustrating to have a perfectly good ta04 sitting there, good batteries, and can't do anyhting with it because it ain't got no spur gear!
