I ran my 4.5 today, I'm very impressed. It seem to have more top end and better brakes than the 5.5. I also noticed that it was more controllable at lower speeds (had less wheel spin). Awesome motor, Good work Novak.

I have saved the best til last people rave on how good the Novak brushless motor really is lets see if the novak 4.5 can last for 3 years every fortnight racing oh and i forgot and it does not thermal in any race is that because the hacker is a far superior product than Novak will ever be you guys are kidding yourself at the Novak factory if you can get your motors to last as lang as the hacker. This is my second brushless 4.5 system in 4 weeks do you honestly think that is a good product to promote I think not. I would really like to know if they give a money back guarantee as I still have one system unopened, as I bought 3.

Man... if you hate your 4.5 so much...

send the motor my way.. i'll take it off your hands forever. You can go back to playing with your hacker....

Heck, just give me the whole system that "doesn't work"... i'll gladly take it off your hands...

Drew.
Besides getting too hot "thermals", what others signs are there to indicate that there is a problem? I am interested to know because you said that you are getting replacements that are faster. If things work, how would we know if the ones we have may not be the fastest? Was the replacement the whole system or the ESC or the motor? Thanks.

Hi. I am looking for a brushless system equivalent of something like a 12turn brushed motor. Which brushless motor would be most similar to that? thanks

The GTB/6.5 system would be the closest to a 12 turn

One of the fets was faulty and caused a great loss in speed. The only way to tell if one of the fets is fautly is compare it to someone else's. There was a fair bit of difference in speed between the two, so i'm sure you would be able to tell the difference.

I have a quick question, I have pulled the end cap off the motor to oil the end bearing and a little bar fell out, so I looked at the back and there were two there, are they important and do I have to put it back on

Thanks

I've just installed a 5.5 in my Corally G3.. MAN!! No I can't blame the car anymore... First time I've pullled a 1/12 track sideways through a sweeper, and lived to tell the tale.. It's silly-fast! No more brushed for me!
