Talking GTB Questions

A couple of questions:

Can the GTB work Ok with sensorless motors like the Trinity N60? Has anyone tested the Novak GTB with the Trinity N60 motor?

The Trinity motors are sensorless, and cannot be powered by the Novak GTB, which is a sensored controller.

The GTB is a sensored ESC so you will need a sensored brushless motor in order for it to work, But on the other hand you can use a sensorless ESC on a sensored brushless motor you just wouldn't be using the sensored cable. Take Care and Good Luck...

So your saying that I can use a Mamba Max ESC and run a Novak/LRP BL motor? Has anyone tried this? Has that combo worked out well?

yes that works but i heard that mamba has some issues working with sensored motors, i dont know exactly what is the problem but they are working on new firmware update to fix it , as soon as it is available you can download it from their web and update the ESC by usb

At this point the Novak and LRP BL speedos are so dialed there is no reason to use anything diffrent if you are looking for a race system.

That's very true, I am with you on that one. But It's good to put out info for the guys just so they know they have other options and combos to use.
