New Novak Brusless System
#1936

Brain Teased-- You shouldn't experience any problems running your GTB/13.5 system at 1/4 to 1/2 for long amounts of time...especially in your drift car where the loading on the system is minimal.
A word about capacitors --
We recommend only replacing your capacitors with the capacitors we sell with our ESCs and accessory kits.
The reason we do not recommend other capacitors is because the capacitors we have selected have the very best ratings for both ripple current handing capacity and the ESR.
You cannot simply use the capacity and voltage to determine the quality of the cap.
Familys of products generally have ripple current and ESR ratings that are not specified directly on each individual capacitor... so the Brand X cap that's 10 V 4700 may *look* to be the same as our capacitor its ripple current and ESR ratings might be lacking and this can cause a failure in not only the capacitor but also in your ESC.

Steve......I have a question for you...I have attended Charlie's last two parking lot races La Mirada and Corona. Let me tell you Sean Willams sedan is friggin silly fast he mentioned you worked on his brushless system what did you do to it and what motor is he running.

OCMike -- I honestly don't remember what motor he is running in modified... probably either a 4.5R or a 3.5R.
As far as what I "did" to it... I just recommend making sure that you've preformed the one touch setup properly so that you know your ESC is callibrated to the transmitter, and if the ESC has too much punch for you in the default profile (#1) simply change the profile to #3 which is slightly smoother.
Once you've done this you'll have to adjust your drag brake for personal preference... but most people like setting 2 or 3.
Obsidian-- I believe those pro combos are simply coming with the standard GTBs and not the Spread Spectrum models. Sorry!
