How low can you go?

I'd be starting below 11:1 - maybe 11.5:1?

Thanks Marcos,

What size track are you running on? Are you running any fans?

Ok, thanks.

My track is a little smaller than that indoors. So i might need to get a fan or heatsink.

I dont suppose you know if the heatsink will be available in th UK? If not could you tell me which shop sells them thanks for your help.

Paul,

This is indeed interesting... has anyone measured it? I got both, but my scale gets nuts when close to a magnetic field....

Has anyone run the 13.5 motor? How does it compare to brushed and race tuned stock motors?

I don't have a weighing scale but based on feel, the sintered rotor is slightly heavier than the regular rotor.

The sintered rotor's diameter is lesser though (around 2mm lesser).

The sintered rotor's magnet was obviously stronger than the used regular rotor which makes me wonder how much the magnet on the original rotor (around 30 5-minute runs) has weakened compared to when it was new.

Here's a side by side pic...
