I did notice some new pictures on the novak website for the GTB. Looks like it will come with a fan installed on the heatsink now. The motor picture is also a bit more detailed if I remember right.

What silly individual thinks that ridiculous ventilation thing on the new pictures will fit a normal buggy? PFFFFFFFF, the Sphere needs a heat sink which won't fit my car, the new Novak system has a ventilation unit on it...
When does somebody come up with a brushless system to fit a normal 2WD buggy?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I think it's ridiculous! At first they make you happy with nothing... The Sphere was always shown without heat sink up to a few days before its release. The GTB had no fan on it on the first pictures, but now, a few days before the release, is has got one....
I'm very disappointed again, this time in Novak!

My guess is that you will not need the heatsink when running the milder motors like the 5800 and 4300.

The GTB with fan fits the Losi no prob and fits the B4 , however it is a tight fit in the B4 so you can run the fan on it's side.

Charlie from Novak can step in here and confirm this as he posted this in another forum.

Hey Guys,
Yes, we ran the fan on top of the GTB Heatsink on a Losi Buggy with the Standard body. You can leave a little extra room depending on how you mount it. We just used the standard Cut Line on the bottom of the body. It can also be done with the B4, but the racer had his body mounted a bit lower then normal.
You can use a buttonhead screw to prevent the body from rubbing the fan as well.
The fan will have enough wire to move around the car as needed. We've put a fan in front of the ESC blowing back at it as well. For most 2wd applications the fan will not be as crucial.
Thanks
Charlie

Charile,
What turn would the 5.5 and 6.5 brushless motors be eqivelent too in a brushed motor? Are we looking and like 8 & 10T equivents or more like a 11 - 14T range.
