Dates for the Pre-Worlds will be listed on the Stage 1 report April timeframe
Did I read this correctly; Single compound tires only for 12th, no tire warmers allowed and controlled sauce in quarantine? Is the controlled sauce and quarantine only for sedan or for both? Thanks for all the hard work from those organizing.

I'm pretty sure that after previous 1/12 worlds on asphalt, where those with the best tyres (japanese) had an advantage. It was decided that if on asphalt again it would be a control tyre.

Yes, no tyre warmers and a control additive.

They can't seriously be considering that, not if they are going to word the back half of 1.5.2 as:

"Rain and rain showers are a natural occurrence for outdoor sport just as temperature changes during a day and shall by then not be a reason to stop nor interrupt a race. Only severe or extreme conditions endangering safety (thunderstorms share winds, flooding etc.) will be a reason to stop racing."

A set of foams selected for just after a rain shower would be completely useless in high grip conditions and vice versa.

When I mentioned single compound I was referring to no dual compound, multi-shore tires, not a control tire for 12th.

4.0.4 is where I was reading.

I'm not bothered by the rules, I was just making sure I read it right.

The ROAR bloc drivers' list is out: http://www.roarracing.com/downloads/...ic_On_Road.pdf

Question: Why so few? Lack of interest? The OffRoad worlds last year had 3 times as many from the ROAR bloc.

That list is based off of 2013 results
Once roar opens up registration a larger list will follow

Nobody runs Modified. Nationals barely see a B-Main in Modified. The numbers just aren't there. Everyone runs 17.5 these days.

This is just the first list of qualified drivers. Because so few race modified in the US, ROAR only used the Nats A-mains rather than the top-30.
