Start each main where you qualified.

Every main is a "new" race

rheinard wins a2 and is world champion.

Despite an early collision with Hagberg that saw him drop to near the back of the field.

Awesome driving.

I watched half an hour of people shuffling around and the stream was perfect. As soon as the race started it was buffering every couple of seconds. It made it extremely hard to watch.

Perfect again now though, for the E final

Agreed. What a disgrace this liverc coverage is. Somehow the off-road coverage is somewhat up to snuff though. Plus the camera angle is horrendous

I dont know of many people that would call the off-road coverage up to snuff...

That's why I don't pay for it any longer. Tried to support the cause one time for a Reedy Race and it is amazing they can even charge for a product that is so bad. Now if it sucks like it did for A2 and least I don't feel bad I wasted money.

That's because of everyone jumping on to watch the A mains.

It was a shoddy production, but on the other hand I got to see racing I was not present for...I did have to laugh a bit at the "virtual studio" background, they might be trying a bit too hard with that one. Using Firefox with *********** plus, I basically eliminated all of the flashing banners, ect. That helped a lot.

I watched it on Youtube, I'm pretty sure their servers can cope with a few thousand racing fans watching.

The bottleneck was onsite.

Its the video bandwidth required, not the product or the servers. It would be perfect if everyone else but you logged off. The uplink requirements to server a with a few thousand viewers is in the Gigabytes. Their line to the public internet might not be that wide on and everyone wants a piece of it so frame rate sucks. If you want perfectly clear internet broadcasts, it gets exponentially expensive.

?

They upload to Youtube live who then stream it to viewers.

So as long as the bandwidth is sufficient to upload the single stream to Youtube, Youtube will take care of the rest.

So whether 1 person or 1m people watch it on Youtube, it doesn't effect the bandwidth that LiveRC need.
