Damn it, just bought a tc4

I'm sure the chassis is stiffer and lighter than the moulded tub. But why didn't they add the option to have 4 cells on one side and 2 on the other to cancel out the terribly bad weight distribution? All the cells down one side is getting worse and worse as the cells get heavier . Another issue I have is witht the shock mounts, why didn't the make new gearbox covers that the carbon fibre plate could bolt straight onto

I think this chassis is a reaction to the fact that the tc4 is so overweight.

Gota ditch that stupidly heavy foam bumper too, lol.

Wow, looks real nice. However its too little to late. Why didnt AE release this car at the same time as the plastic TC4? If they did they may have kept at least one customer, ME.

huh, i hope they added jason from bmi to the design team. otherwise, it's just flattery. and yeah, the shock tower adapters are pretty lame. five years ago ae releases a chassis that revolutionizes the tc scene, now they are struggling to keep up.

I too am annoyed that they didn't just make new gearbox covers instead of that stupid adapter would have made the car lighter as well.
