KDR sounds good to me. I don't mind the drive. A bit pricey though.

F1RL Racers,

Good job at Revelation today. I will have the website updated with the latest points standing soon.

I have to apologize that I forgot my digital camera today so I didn't get any shots of today's racing (I know, I should be fired from the comissioner's position )

King Daddy,

Nice to meet you in person today Steve. I will send you an email tomorrow.

Steve Wang

What no camera? How could you Steve?! One more mistake like that and you demoted from commissioner to assistant commissioner.

Here is a question I need to post and see what everyone has to say: Speaking with a friend of mine who owns a 3Racing F201, he temp'd his car at the motor, and at the shock above the motor (right rear). There is a considerable difference between that shock, and the other three shocks. The right rear shock was temp'd at about 140dF, the motor at 190dF. The other three shocks are temp'd at 70dF. With the other three shocks at differing temps, the handling of the car may be problematic . Think about it, one shock at a higher temp than the one next to it. Does anyone see what I am trying to get at?

Um no Neil, I don't understand what your getting at, gimpy Just kidding limpy...err I mean..bah, whatever.

I believe that high quality synthetic silicon oils resist viscosity changes from heat. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the heat shouldn't effect the shock. It is an interesting point that you made though.

True, the viscosity of the oil should remain the same. But what about the shock body? The piston? The area around the motor gets very hot, heat rises, things change. Kinda like what happened to you at soapland, huh Rod?

As a person whose motor gets to 190 to 200 degrees ( I have a temp gun ), I bought a Tamiya heatsink and the metal motor guard and now it's usally around 150 to 170. I have the metal shocks and have never noticed it being hot... I will check it next time...

Neil the viscosity will change with heat. It should show as a washout on left turns as that shock loads and releases.
