Yes, but for a short time only. Do you have a small metric nut that fits the small gold ball stud? Sorry, don't know the size.

I've got the 3 Racing chassis which came with all the alloy and harware as well for $65! There are some huge advantages with the chassis:

1. Motor runs much cooler (20*C measured last week)
2. much easier to work on the car
3. looks freakin' awesome!
4. won't warp

In short, Highly recomended!
That's great but what type of handling difference have you noticed?

anybody know an estimated street price for the Tuned Chassis kit in the US? They are $250 on ebay from HK right now.

Also what else should I get right away? Lightweight outdrives, B's, and....?

Expect it to be higher or the same when it get's in the US. Even Rainbow ten in Japan has it for $300.00 + Shipping.
The ones on Ebay are a good deal.
I would have gotten them if I did not find a slightly use Hopped up F201 for cheaper but I did, plus set up by a Tamiya Factory Driver...wooohooo!
BTW...Tower has them listed for $400 and up.

I cacluated the parts that is in the Tuned chassis and it adds up to $250.00 + the Car and Extra Body.

Lightweight Outdrives, High speed gear set and the center Gear Shaft are most likely the stuff that you need that does not come with the tuned kit.
I was running A tires and worked well on the car plus good wear. The B's are great but expect it to wear out fast.

If you are not to hung up with TCS legal...check out the 3 racing parts mentioned above.

I am planning on keeping it TCS legal. Unless I can get a class ofd them racing locally. Then I'll just have to have two!!

I saw that Rainbow Ten was $300 so I figured I might grab one from ebay. I do get a discount at my local shop but I don't think it can match ebay right now.
