Mark is correct not much is needed. My original answer I misunderstood and thought you wanted to go big on it (sorry)

I loaded mine up when I went to Worlds because the disc. we got over there was awesome but some of it was due to the good pricing.

Really good parts
Lightweight counter gears
Springs
Universals front definately
Lt wt diffs

Is their any plans of a adjustable motor mount of any kind? Allot of the local's say they are having motor issues due to the fixed gearing.

Has anyone tried the new stiff arms for the F201. Don't know the name of the company.

I need to have the car TCS legal. I should have said that in my post. Hopefully Tamiya will step up to the plate and come up with one for themselves.

I've been using the FPM Aluminum Arms. They have worked great for me. They made it through crashes that would have destroyed the stock arms with no problem.

There is also a cross bracing system in the works by FPM to eliminate gear box flex.

Default Novak Brushless system in the F201

I recently finished installing the new Novak brushless motor combo in my F201 (will post pics)

Talk about a great system for this chassis...plenty of torque & runs very well....seat-o-the-pants feel... pulls like a 14 to 16 turn brushed motor.

Default 3Racing/Eagle chassis images

Hi All,

Just incase you missed them, sorry for the dust on the car, it was really windy and I was shooting outdoors under a tree and stuff kept falling on the car! These are 1024x768 images that are as highly compressed as I could make them and not lose much image quality so please view them full screen if possible. Enjoy the pix and if there are any questions about the chassis or hop-ups please don't hesitate to ask!

Cheers/Chip

You have allot of money in that bad jonny..... Looks very nice. What are the spacers under the gearbox for? I am guessing adjusting roll center but not sure.

The spacers are for making the gear box at the right height. The plastic stock chassis has those molded in to it.

Why isn't there a single company making a chassis for the F201 that could take normal racing configuration batteries instead of the stick batteries?

What is normal racing configuration batteries? sidexside, saddle, 4x2, etc. In Japan majority use stick packs.

Hi Zombie,

Zombie are you in the USA or some where else?

Wow! I didn't know that, is this why many of the high volume cars use stick packs? It seems that the high-end cars are more likely to have options, like the new Alex Barracuda R2, it uses side-by side packs and possibly sticks too, the Tam 414M2 can use stick or saddle packs but the more affordable cars like the TA04 have stick packs as the primary configuration. Interesting stuff!

Cheers
