the lipo batteries fit in the car but u have to take them out of the case or do some heavy modding to the battery slots

Here is the Front end of the F2006F1 car 2WD Belt Drive car.
We are still testing shocks at this time.
Next week the rear end pictures will be posted.
And the finished car the following week!

you will also notice our Anti roll system!

This will allow us to run a smaller shock and lighter spring combo.
This will keep the chassis stable in the corners GONE! is the unwanted chassis roll you get with the F201 and other F1 Cars!
We will also use the same setup on the rear of the car.
This will let you tune the chassis and suspension to a true setting with No chassis roll or chassis flex!

So you make the chassis suspension and tires do what they were made to do!

See chassis Flex is like a handy cap you might not have the right setup on the car but the Chassis flex will allow you to run it up front. So if you have no flex and a true setup for the car you will be that much faster!

Looking very nice Marty, being RWD only what is the target weight of the chassis ready to run including all electronics?

I agree about having a stiff chassis, but remember that real F1 cars have SOME flex built in also

However, when you look at a regular F201, it s all a bit silly. The suspension binds like mad and the shocks and arms do not work like they should.

I would be awesome also to "close" the area between the topdeck and lower deck in order to have a monocoque "look".
Did you consider doing a raised front section (purely for looks.. ) ?

What about dual motor ??

My first Design 2 years ago was of a monocoque Design is was a high nose molded tub Design car It is what we called True scale F1 R/C cars/ but after going from paper to Cad to just a chassis would be about 5000.00 USD for the mold and first layup and all we would have is a chassis. even with this currant Chassis we wanted it just like the real F1 cars even this one I had planed on stopping the lower chassis just behind the front wheels. but it has to much flex.

But I have been taking this company that way and I am sure one day I will get it to that point But for now we walk before we run! as they say.

Now from what I have found that there is not much flex in a F1 Chassis at all.
The suspension flex and tire design is what makes the car so good in the corners.
And a email I got back from a former Benetton team member told me after 1988 the chassis would see less chassis flex over the years and today there is not much flex at all Plus when I was in Indy this past year I talked with 3 teams on this very thing and they told me the tires do most of the work that they were like the shock and springs for the car.

He also told me to watch the cars as they go into a corner and the inside front tire might lockup because it is off the ground or under less load that there is no flex to the chassis at all when you are talking about a 60 to 80 mm diffrance in the left rear tire to the right front under a load as in going into a corner! Or when they have a flat in the rear tire the front comes off the ground Now in the day of active suspension the active system would adjust for this and a driver wouldn't even know he had a flat till it was to late so they put electronics on the car to tell them when the had a tire going down!

So every thing I have come to is the currant F1 chassis has almost zero flex and the susepnsion and tires do all the work.
