Generally the way I used the run the car was to have 1 degree toe out on the front and quite a bit of toe in on the rear, maybe 5 degrees (with 23T motors). It kept the car nice and stable at high speed and quite pointy in the slower stuff. What's the car like at high speed?? Due to not racing on carpet before, you may need to tune the suspension to cope with that a bit more as the setup on that car was based on bitumen running.

its a beautiful car on the carpet, handles very nicely, just a pain when you get off line in the slow corners and have to change direction very quickly

it requires about 2 laps to get the tyres upto temperature but after that it is absolutely wonderful to drive

maybe i will have to look at the toe settings of the car

Yeh, the car is just superb. I spent a lot of time on that beast so you certainly cleaned up with that!

Hope you continue the winning trend with that puppy!!

Meh, just need practice. Always like that with a new car cause each car does feel different.

sure is like that

Monaro with his EVO3SE and me with my TB02
his F201 Tuned chassis and now your old Bling Tuned Chassis, though I was using a BMW Williams body just to confuse the spectators, Monaro also uses the BMW, and I now know who the Mark Webber of RC cars is,

everytime I got a clean move on him he would brake late and spin me out, just waited for the immenant mistake and won

Hahaha, sounds like fun. I think that there is still going to be one guy from our club heading up for the ACT titles, Peter Sprenger (5th in our championship) but that's all I think. Unfortunately this battery saga has put off many of our runners who are now thinking of going to the Winterchamps re-run as well as TCS later in the year rather then the ACT Titles.

Run the BMW body, and a faster servo both will dramatically improve the quality of the steering.

Play with amount of toe and camber. I generally started with 3 toe 3 camber on the rear, and 2 and -2 on the front. Should give you tons of steering.

absolutely slaughtered him in the final this week, some little setup help helped a heap, Monaro is still a little bit faster through the infield, but im sure that will be fixed by the weekend

Default body characteristics

i know its already been discussed on this thread about the differences between williams vs type-a/ferrari bodies... but i was wondering if anyone notices differences in handling between the type-a and the ferrari bodies?

The Williams front wing tends to lift the front end up. The Ferrari wing ( 3 wings) pushes the front down, try both and you'll see the difference.
Bodys, about the same, the front wing make the difference.

So you are saying the Williams wing has less front downforce? That seems weird, it has many more louvers and scallops
