I'm sure this is answered somewhere on the thread but I couldn't read back that far (it's 3am here). I just picked up a F201 and it has the 55 spur in it - I know from the manual that a 20 pinion is it's match. What pinion with the 52 spur?

Which is better for running a stock motor on an outdoor track (flowing design).

Try this one. I know he's been trying to sell it for a while. You may try sending him a PM (search for Stenchy) to possibly buy it right away.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...968577911&rd=1

BTW I've seen the car and it's in perfect condition.

gave my F201 a spin around the parking lot the for the first time yesterday, very surprised at how well balanced the car was.

It was very realistic, here in GA it's pollen season so there is a yellow dust of pollen everywhere- when driving the car around it looked like I was first car out at Bahrain with all the dust blowing behind the car!

Now if I could only find McLaren decals like would be perfect.

we both should have used spell check. I put "like" instead of life and you put 'TC3' instead of TCS.

Yea, the plan is to be there. I bought the car from a guy in VA actually. Little rebuild and we'll se what happens.

Do you have a F1? Will I be getting out of your way?

Hey quick question for all the experts out there. Has anyone tried the new GP3700's or IB3800 in there car without modifying the chassis? I know the GP3700 are a larger cell but wonder if it would fit in the chassis. TIA

Hi Guys,

In case some of you didn't know, the KO Propo Grand Prix this year have a 19T F201 class Right now the entry looks low and we want to make sure that this class stays on the KO Propo Grand Prix next year, plus this is at the great Tamiya America facility, just a great opportunity to run your F201 car.

KO Propo Grand Prix

Steve Wang

p.s. gtypecanare: how come you're not signed up??

Get the reinforced front and rear lower arms.
High speed gear set.
Wider track width, a litle less camber and toe-in.

I'm not sure if you would want F201 tips from a guy like me, but you can go out to this link on Tamiya's site.

http://www.tamiyausa.com/articles/fe...?article-id=53

It's Neal's tips on how he set up his TCS Nats winning F201.

As far as tires go, I've only run Tamiya A's and B's out there (for TCS and F1RL races). Tire choice is "free" for the KO Propo race. I think that I have a set of the Square "soft" tires. I may bring those out and run them in practice too.

The F201 and Pro-10 classes are "secondary" classes that you can enter, if you've signed up for either the Mod or 19T class. For the KO race, entries are limited to 100 driver, and as of today, there's already a total of 86 people signed up for mod/19T. So if you're thinking about running it, send your entry form in tomorrow.

Hope this helps...

TC

Shocks, FRONT: 70 weight, 3 hole, hard springs.....
REAR 60 weight, 3 hole, med springs
Remember bump steering is a killer on this car UNLESS you have a pair of the pic attached..... Not TCS legal but when you set your car down it the bump-steering-problem is gone....

Go here to get them....
