No need for precut. That would put your decals at $27.

The BAR sheet looks great but it is missing quite a few of the decals needed to make the set complete. I was pleased to see the different decals that are normally left off an aftermarket set.

The decal sets are designed to augment the the set that comes with the bodies so there are no general body trim decals included. In addition the decals for the rims, tires, 3rd wing element and mirrors have been left out since our bodies do not have a 3 tier wing or mirrors. It was my feeling that most racers dont care about the wheel and tire decals so they have been left off as well.

You mean the tire decals blow off during the first 5 minutes after all that hard work

I put a coating of CA over the tire decals so that they hold on much much longer. . . however they obviously will tear off a lot quicker if you hit the boards (or other F1's) often.

Don't get me wrong on the decals. I would love to stop cutting vinyl to make custom decals. I am excited that someone is making F1 decals.

We have a series that could really use the unconventional F1 decals: Minardi, Jordan, and Sauber. Yes there are other resources but it would be nice to have one source for all 10 F1 teams. I don't know if we are going to have all ten but as of today it looks like we will have 9 teams next March.

Well I got the sauber master image files done but I have not been able to get a good color match on the teal stripes yet but you can always get the Airwico set from formula1-rc.com I have personaly used the set on my Dad's F1 and they are the best bargain out there. For only $20.- you get everything to up a beautiful C22.

Minardi is something I have no plans to do but I will probably get around to a Jordan but if I do it will be in Benson & Hedges era when the car looked good.

Too bad on Minardi and Jordan. I know 2 sets for Jordan 2004 or 2005 isn't worth it so I won't ask.

Do you try to get the CA under the decal as well?

Has anyone tried heat transfer?

I use a really thin CA glue that automatically gets under there. Works great.

I am glad I found a great thread for F201 Tamiya
I have a williams tuned version that I hopped it up to the extreme.
The car was completely convereted Graphite chasis,a lot of aluminum parts, light weight shafts, cvds, adjustable spur/motor mounts The F201 class did not kick off in my area we have 4 guys so far. The car was highly modified that I have a lot of extra parts that you could almost build another one if anyone is interested pm me with your email I have a little over $1,000 invested & would like to sell the car to someone that would really appreciate it.

I finally have my first F1 car on its way.

What shore and diameter and width sedan foam tires should I use for ozite?

I will want to run this car at 3mm I am pretty sure-so if you can get me in the ballpark.

I have no problem cutting say a 28mm front down to 24mm width, etc if thats what it takes to make this work on foam tires/carpet.

Our track allows NO rubber tires-period.

Thanks,
Ray

OK here is my advice ( also what everyone else runs on carpet in Maryland )

Front: 26mm around 40 shore
Rear: 30MM around 45 shore
