If I didn't have the ORCAS and using 5mm bullets I'd be using SMC packs. The ones I want haven't been in stock since before the new year and heard people are having trouble getting them, but I'm pretty sure the 5mm bullets make a real noticeable difference, I haven't had a pack with this kind of punch yet. Could be that the Orca ESC and lipos are meant for each other. My
Ast esc was a LRP Flow works team and used 2 OHP 6500 70c packs and a 100C rev tech and not as much punch

The solder joints will make a difference before the extra diameter of the connector does.

orca 6000/7000 80c all the way followed by
acorn racing 6500 80c
6400 45 c roc battery power are pure punch lipo
