Just adding some more fodder
I'm thinking about getting into VTA & I'm looking at both of those & the AE tc4. It's a little more expensive ($140), but seems more robust & capable out of the box than either of the other 2. I also see more people running it locally than the other 2 combined. The bad, your limited in upgrading it. Both the spec & the Sakura (& the recently announced xi s) can be upgraded to full on race spec with carbon fiber & aluminum everything. With the tc4, you'll end up selling it & buying another car.

All I have seen are pictures, but so far I like what I see. As it replaces the Zero S I hope they keep the price reasonable.

The TC4 was released as a replacement for the venerable TC3 but sadly it failed miserably and was never a popular sedan. Top racers were never able to get it to run as well as expected and it didn't do well.

I would not recommend spending more money on a sedan with less capabilities than the S1 or Zero.

They're 12mm hexes, I'm running 5mm thick. Stock is 4mm I think.

I have a SpecR S1 and am liking it, budget TC with performance! It can be competitive in a blinky class with a very minimal hop ups...
