If it always makes a loud noise there's definitely something wrong, but make sure that nothing's binding and that you can move the wheels freely; also make sure the servo is neutral.

Servos usually make a noise when for example you can't turn the wheels any more (by hand) but the servo still tries to turn them and this is when you reduce the max left/right endpoint or lower the dual rate.

The new KO servos require a higher BEC and has some trouble with certain speedos.
If you are using a Quantum Comp 2 speedo, then the new KO will not work. I even tried installing a cap and still could not get it to work.
I had to go back to using my KO 2143 and it works fine.
Does the servo work fine, it just makes a noise?
Because mine would not work at all and when it did, it would not be responsive to the Trasmitter. It would lag and jerk around.

Ok. If it's lik that , it's probably either the gears or its mayb a defect. Or, as Scoob was sayin, it could also be the ESC.

Hi

I did have it installed with a Quantum 2 speedo so maybe I will try it with my new Hara twister 2 ..! I was using this servo before with a nosram evo speedo and it was fine. It doesn't buzz when in neutral just when I turn either left or right? When I disconnect it from the steering mechanism then it doesn't make any buzzing sounds at all???

I am really stumped... :-(

Regards
Scott
