not sure if the front Aluminium Bulkhead is the same for rear XI Sport ?
#798
Rod: they are the same. The original Xi had a different rear bulkhead. But the sport uses the same front to back. So if you would like to bling it up, just buy a pair of front aluminum bulkheads.

do you use the same setup as zero?

Drive shaft
Hello,
I managed to tear up my drive shafts today. Is there any advantages to using the double jointed shafts? I bought the car used and it had the double joint shafts already installed, just wanted to know if it is worth the extra cash compared to the typical universal shafts. If it is an advantage to have the double joint has anyone rebuilt one before with success? I see the parts are on tqracing.
Thanks,
Matt

I ran 3.47 with 17.5 Reedy mach II at a medium sized nitro track (160 ft straight) last month.

Any tips for improving speed? I recently bought a second hand Sakura that had run mod a few times. I want to run it in stock 21.5. I bought a Speed Passion Reventon with a sp 21.5 3.0 motor but my car is seriously lacking speed. The last race I was well off the leaders and was getting blown away on the straights. I was running a FDR of 3.5. I changed the gearing to a 66 spur and a 36 pinion but still no poke, I then tried a big 44 pinion and it gave it better top speed but it lost a lot of torque. Really stumped on how to improve it. Is my motor defective? I thought stock motors had to be similar power? The fast guys seem to be another class=(

Mobile 1 synthetic grease for the diff built, good idea ? Tube should last forever if it is good for this.

How thin is it compared too the kit supplied 3000 cst?
I preffer to use the rc stuff, simply for pairity. If i miss-place my 3000, i know that associated or xray 3000 is similar.
If you happen to lose your tube of mobile1, and you need to rebuild your diff to similar properties, what has the equivalent thickness?

Is your timing correct? Also, are you using the same tiress as the other guys? I noticed that Sweeps give me a different rollout than Sorex.
