I do have one that I normally keep in my 4WD SCT that I can use if it turns out to be necessary. Glaringly blue heat sink though

Just grabbed the info that the Turnigy TD10 V2 is essentially a XI Sport?
Can anyone confirm?

Pieced together by HOBBYKING from 3Racing parts that didn't pass quality control, common problems are leaking/stripping rear diffs and shocks, other then than there that same. Spend the extra $30 and get a 3Racing kit.

3Racing just released the XI SPORT NU with redesigned shock towers and includes swaybars >> 3RACING XI SPORT NU

please post more images while or after building...I'm looking forward to seeing them. I picked up a photon ex for cheap a few weeks ago and can't get parts at all for it, so I'm thinking of scraping it and getting the XI Sport like I originally planned to...

Back in the game after a 4 year break, my XI Sport was amazing, qualified 2nd ... finished 1st. Set up was dialed, very consistent VTA on Black CRC carpet.

Nice man! For no real good reason I just bought a new XI Locally for $90. Been wanting one just because of the price tag and potential the kit has for what it is. I was going to build my spare 16 BD7 into a VTA car but might use this instead and let folks drive it when they want.

Great looking car! I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.

1. What are the differences between the Nu and the original XI Sport?
2. Where did you get the pink wire?
3. What wheels and tires are you using?

1. shock towers have higher drilled holes for shocks = easier to set lower ride height with different brand springs, front bumper is smaller, bronze & black anodizing instead of pink , swaybars included in kit ... so far thats all I noticed but not done building the NU yet.
2. Deans - Wire & HobbyKing.com also has pink wire
3. HPI VTA tires.

Attached set-up sheet for VTA on CRC Black carpet.

At this time the new kit is only available at RaceVTA 3Racing XI SPORT NU kit

The older kits are available at TQ Racing and Integy

All 3 carry parts ... even hobbyking has some parts.
