For anyone not able to find springs for the shocks I've just found these.

Reflex racing RSD Definitive Touring Car Spring Set (14mm id x 25mm length)

Just google them as I can't post links yet.
Softer back springs do help with ride height and stops the back end chucking out when accelerating in my case anyways.

Does anyone use a servo saver for a savox servo on these?

Hi to all.
I need to buy combo for my Sakura.
What you think is better FlowWorks Team ESC and Vector x20 6,5T motor with 2S lipo or FLUX VEKTOR 4000Kv BRUSHLESS motor and FLUX EMH-3S BRUSHLESS ESC with 3S lipo

Default Shocks

Received new shock towers and shocks today. Built and installed. Everything look good. Helps when you have the correct parts.

Hey Guys.

I have a race tomorrow and I just realized that one of my rear driveshaft/axel stubs is bent pretty bad.

Do you know of any other make that fit our cars? my LHS mostly stock xray parts so I will see if those will fit, but looking for any other ideas.

there is a plastic piece that screws into the arm from the bottom with two small screws and locks the ball end. I think it's not part of the mounting kit, but it's in the car kit itself. It's part tree no. SAK-U106, see attached image.

For aluminum steering parts they released a version 2, it shows as in stock on the 3racing website so any of the HK based eshops should have it. But I would not bother with them anyway, just adds weight to an already heavy car. I had the plastic part break once, but decided to buy the plastic again. In case of a really big crash something's got to give, and I rather have a 3 euro cheap plastic piece break than something else.

Damn you VRC PRo! Just drove my first onroad car ever and really liked it (even though im terribly slow ).
Thinking of getting my first car, mainly for parking lots after work.

I think the Sakura would be a perfect entry? Even at club level it should be quite competitive, shouldn't it? Would fit it with 13.5T Trackstar, 120A ESC (dunno about batterie, but I use shortys as standard, so thats what its gonna be)....

Are there metal parts for the spiders and "diff exits" (sorry dont know the word in english). Seems as if these are the only major "plastic" parts?!

Thought of getting the Sakura as beginner/entry in the TC business, but I want something that lasts long, so I am not quite sure with these kind of plastics that this car is the right choice.

Not certain on what a spider diff exit is. Do you have a pic?

I have been running a sakura cars since 2011. They last a long time.

OK, nevermind. If you say none of the plastic parts are kind of a Problem, I will take your word for it.

Are there any weak points in this car, which I can updrade by choosing some additional parts? Its so cheap I can afford some Upgrades

Last question: I run only shortys, would this be a problem?

Standard items to have are:
- arms
- knuckles
- C-hubs

I'd recommend upgrading:
- Floating servo mount
- aluminum steering link
