Default TC4 rear arm question?

Ok guys dumb question...

What does the number on the rear arm represent?

The kit comes with an x-3.0 and there's also aluminum 2.0's, 2.5's, and 3.0's available.

Do these have anything to do with how many shims I put under them? My set up sheet calls for 4 shims under each rear arm. I have an aluminum 2.5 on there now. Which arm would be correct?

dood, what you are talking about is the suspension blocks, not the arms themselves.

the numbers on each block is the amount of rear toe your ride will have. i.e: 3 is 3*of rear toe, 2.5 is 2.5* of rear toe.

Have a read on the last couple of pages on the instuction manual, where it explains some set-up opions for the chassis.

Good Luck
Jesse

x-3.0 and 2.5 and 2 mean the degrees of toe in on the back, smaller the number less toe in, this will give the car more speed in a straight line as the tires are more straight (slightly), but you lose a bit of rear grip but i can't feel any difference. These do not have anything really to do with the shim heights. Its just another small tunning option. There is more info in the manuel.
