Default How Do I Print the Latest ROAR Approvals?

Ok, so ROAR have started posting approvals as individual threads in a forum. Problem is this is really tough to access during a race day for a scrutineer. I need a way to print a list of approved motors, ESCs and batteries. Is there one?

You can use the snipping tool in Windows8. If you don't have Win8 you may be able to use snagit.

Click on the printable view link next to the desired approval list.

But, I have no idea if the list is up to date. If it's not, there is no excuse. For example, there are no motors listed as being approved in 2013. I thought I heard that the new Trinity "Kill Shot" is legal, but it's not in the list. I have no idea why this isn't in a PDF that can be downloaded.

Assuming the OP isn't using Linux(which would make this even easier).... Now that WGET can be used in Windows/Mac OS environments, it would be pretty simple to write a script to pull the base forum page, sort thru the 17.5, 13.5, etc subforums and pull all the threads inside... and then parse the approved motors to the cmd prompt.

Obviously this would take a little bit of work to begin with, but you could have the script set up in such a way that it runs automatically at the beginning of your race day(say 10am, or whenever you open your RCSP/whatever software). Each time it runs, it will WGET all the approved motors currently posted on the ROAR forum, so you will always be up to date on the latest approvals, etc.

Probably not the easiest solution... but it's a thought if you(or one of your racers) are fluent in some programming/scripting language.

Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
2017 the focus will be on the Encino Velodrome (and dirt oval racing)

This would have to be the most ridiculous system i have ever seen. So if a club needs a list of approved motors etc for an event, they need to download an out of date roar list from their site then go to the forum and copy all the extra motors etc listed there.
To me this seems just stupid.
Why don't they just keep the list on the site UP TO DATE. then no problems

In theory excellent suggestion. In practice though I'm an overworked volunteer who's just trying to get a current list printed off quickly 2 days before a meeting, and I don't have time to write a script.

ROAR needs to realize its 2013 and stop functioning like it's 2000.
