You can purchase Solaris Tires from our online store: www.apexhobbies.com

Solaris Mediums w/ black rims will be in stock shortly. Probably in a week and a half. Getting some Hards w/ black rims as well.

Very ture. Partially because we always over stock tires for a big event to guard against running out.

We are getting better at keeping up with demand.

My local tracks use the Solaris m & h (indoor and outdoor).
They hold up great and seem very consistent from batch to batch.

Hope that helps.

Pete - to answer your 2nd question --- for asphalt i think it really depends upon track conditions. i'd say you probably want the cheapest tire as asphalt kills them quickly.

additionally, a lot of tracks i race at have one brand or another as a 'spec' tire. this helps prevent tire/insert/rim wars that can break out. i vote for spec tires -- no matter who is the manufacture. having everyone on the same compound/rim/insert levels the playing field..
