Default Pro 4-TRF414M suspension compatibility

Hey guys, just a little curious question (I don't mean to offend any Pro4 owners out there),

have any of you tried mounting the TA04/414M suspension (arm, f/r uprights, c-hub) on a Pro 4? I was thinking about getting a Pro 4 but, since I crash quite a bit, the standard graphite arms won't like it..is it possible to switch them with the "standard" (non-graphite) 414M suspension bits? I think the only thing that matters is whether the base of the 414M arms will clear the distance between the Pro4 suspension mounts..from the photos the Pro4 arms seem to be a good deal narrower at the base than the 414M arms..is it?

you'd be surpised how strong the pro4 suspension is.....only part i broke on my pro4 was a rear hub (well it cracked) and a chub...other than that it was all bevels.

they are very strong considering the suspension is graphite...and when i ahd the pro4, i was far from a good driver

If cash is tight, then just buy a spare of each. The only reason to replace them would be due to wear and tear. No breakage from any of the HPI suspension components.

problem is..I live in Cairo, where I can order parts once a year through some guy who's with the US embassy..or when I go somewhere I can buy parts for the car. it's real "clandestine operation," so I can't really take any chances about buying spares.

two guys here own Pro 4s, and they had to boil the suspension bits to soften them. One bought the car in the summer, but didn't race it until 4 months later because he shattered the C-hub (by overtightening it i think) and had to wait for the parts. I don't want to make the same mistakes....so does the 414M suspension fit?
