Does anyone know the KV rating to the Killshot? Also how does this motor compare to the original Revtech w/HT rotor!

Mackie,

Car is ready to go for tomorrow. Got some softer springs in the mail today. Have some RSD springs, and also got some Ride springs that are softer than the kit springs. Going to test those tomorrow.

Yes rpm stator and torque rotor is what we ran in my 1/12 car

as for how this compaires we all know thier will never be another d3.5 but as for a comparison between the rev tech and kill shot i feel that the killshot is gonna be the closest thing to a d3.5 with the tuning options i can get more rpm then the d3.5 but loose some bottom but then i can make a motor thats more like a d3 for bottom end and gear it to the moon . i really dont like change at major races but we tryed alot of stuff at the nationals and for the down their what i ended up running was the best

I suspect this motor is going to be a great fit for 17.5 12th....

Was that this Saturday that just passed at critters? If it was I ran 4.0 fdr on my thunderpower and went 9.3.

That was with a Reedy Mach2 17.5 right? They are 2300Kv and are just as fast as anything else.

Just making a point that Kv is a pretty useless number at describing performance.
