started with a crash end in water
 

Hey guys, new to the forum what better way to pop my cherry then tell you guys what happen today.
I picked up a Sprint 2 last week. I swapped out the 15 t and put in a brushless 5700kv castle mambo combo. Earlier I was driving it a round and had a some what hard crash in front. (Hit a car tire) After the crash gave it a look over everything seemed ok. I cruised it a lil and started giving it a lil more gas. The car ended up breaking the rear belt, lost a lil control and eneded up going through a small puddle. That's when I saw the car started to putt around. I thought it was because of the belt. Let just say it wasn't.
So my question is what's making the car not drive?

.I changed the esc to the stock hpi one. The motor would still not work right. I also tried plugging the esc to the brushed stock 15 t. Nothing happen. I'm a little lost on what to do or buy. Don't feel like buying a new motor when its the esc.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance
