Default 40 mm fan

I have noticed that many people are running 40mm fans to help control motor temps, but I was wondering specifics on these fans. The only one I've found info on is one from zeppin racing:
Voltage: 5-7.5V
Start-up Voltage: Approx. 3.5V
Rated Current: 0.37A10%
Consuming Power: 1.85W15%
Air Flow: 9.1 CFM
Spinning Speed: 9000RPM15%
Noise: 37.20dBA
Connector: FUT
Cable Length: 240mm
Fan Size: 40x40x10mm

Can computer fans work if I find one that is 5v-7v?
Do I need to be concerned with amps?
Is 9.1cfm too much?

I only use 40mm PC fans. 6V and two wires. Forget the noise, it doesn't matter in our sport. And the best thing is the price

40mm fans aren't ROAR legal. Its not about the fan size.. Its about how the air is moved by the fan.

There are many options...

I'm biased -- I have my Side Piece Racing Seis fans that I always run...

I recently switched from a LRP 40mm fan to the Seis 25mm fan and the motor was only 5-10 degrees F higher.

The seis should easily drop your motor 10 degrees, probably much more than that!
