Could anyone post pics of there servo and servosaver. Still are on the look out for the right combo (servo postions and saver).
My setup seems to get in the way af the tie rods going from the servosaver and from the steering rack to the left wheel. mayby I am doing a rookie mistake, so I would like to see others setup.

Can help with clearance, and the mounting holes are moved back a little I believe. (I don't personally use it, as I run a solid horn only )

Will be running either a 5.5 or 5.0 motor with 64p 90 tooth spur. What pinion and FDR should I be seeking?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Anyone running hard bumbers on their Mi5? Which ones fit? Do you find the bumper mount is still able to absorb the hits with a harder bumper or does it start to crack?

I cut a x-ray hard bumper to fit. works way better than the soft schuey bumper. back in the day when pdub was running Schumacher usa, he came out with a bumper especially for the Schumacher touring cars. it is about the same hardness as the x-ray one. I haven't had a problem with the plastic parts breaking. but id rather break a plastic bumper than break the arms or other front end parts.

I'm actually using the pdub hard bumper which was made out of the parma hard foam there hard to find but parma still sales the hard foam you just have to cut it your self tho just trace out your stock bumper

So I should be shooting for that FDR for mod?

Something to mention as well, Schuey do a Servo Saver specific mounting plate for the servo mount;

So a 114 spur with a 24 pinion gives a FDR of 8.55 , sound better?

That should be an okay place to start.. also consider leaving your end bell timing alone.. zero timing to start... there's a post in that thread and it talk's about when and how to watch your gearing based on the temp of the motor and esc; whether ones running hotter than the other.. I'd encourage you to spend some time in there.. It's a pretty quick and fascinating read..

I actually counter sunk the whole car, bar the top deck (have a look at the camber plates and arms), and took the opportunity to make up some different steering plates with the holes moved inwards a little.
There are a couple of other mods on the car too..
